Project Title: Agrarian Change, Gender and Land Rights
United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) held a two-day conference that brought together a distinguished group of scholars working on issues of agrarian change, gender and land rights. It provided an opportunity for the UNRISD research team, which has been studying this theme over the past three years, to present and obtain feedback on their research findings. The meeting took place on 6-7 November 2001 in Geneva.
