Spanish Cooperation and the United Nations reinforce their commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals
The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) strengthens its relationship with UN-Habitat and UNRISD, agencies of the United Nations family. Common actions will be undertook as early recovery after the COVID-19 crisis, ecological transition, gender equality and digitalization.

The Director of the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID), Magdy Martínez Solimán, has recently held several meetings with various representatives of the United Nations: the UN-Habitat Representative in Spain, Carmen Sánchez-Miranda; and the Director of the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), Paul Ladd, accompanied by the Senior Research Coordinator in the Gender Justice Programme of UNRISD , Francisco Cos-Montiel.
